A kitchen is the hardest room in an Indian home to clean, and the reason is cooking oil. Grease does not sit on a surface the way dust does — it forms a film, collects dust into that film, and then bakes on. A year of daily tadka puts a layer on the tiles, the shutters, the ceiling above the hob and the inside of the chimney that ordinary wiping will not lift.
That is what you are actually paying for when you book a kitchen deep clean: degreasing, done properly, in the places you cannot reach.
A note on these numbers. XpertWorker is a marketplace, not a service company. We do not set any professional's price and we never charge you a paisa. Every figure below is an indicative market range collected from what independent professionals in Delhi NCR generally charge — a guide to help you judge a quote, not a quote itself.

Kitchen cleaning rates — Delhi NCR, 2026
The first row is the job most people mean. Read the chimney row next to it, because it is the single commonest surprise on the final bill.
| Job | Typical market range | What it usually includes |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen deep cleaning | ₹800–2,000 | Cabinets inside and out, tiles, hob area, sink, floor |
| Chimney deep cleaning | ₹500–1,200 | Filters plus the unit itself. Almost always a separate line |
| Floor / tile scrubbing (per sq ft) | ₹3–10 | Machine scrubbing where grease has soaked into the floor |
| Bathroom deep cleaning (per bathroom) | ₹400–900 | Commonly added when the kitchen is booked |
| Full home deep cleaning — 2BHK | ₹2,500–4,500 | Cheaper per room than booking rooms individually |

“Kitchen deep cleaning” means very different things to different providers, so agree the list rather than the label. A genuine deep clean covers:
- Cabinet shutters — both faces. The outside is what you see; the top edge and the inside of the shutter is where the grease film actually lives.
- Inside the cabinets, emptied by you beforehand. If they are not emptied, they do not get done.
- Tiles and the backsplash, degreased rather than wiped — particularly the run behind and above the hob.
- The ceiling and the wall above the hob. Skipped constantly. It is where the vapour goes.
- Hob, burners and drip trays, dismantled where they come apart.
- Sink, drain mouth and the tap area, including the limescale that Delhi water leaves on chrome.
- The gap beside and behind the fridge — one of the dirtiest spots in any flat and a favourite cockroach run.
- Floor scrubbing, including under whatever can be moved.
Why the chimney is quoted separately
Because it is a different job. Washing the baffle filters is routine maintenance you can do yourself in a sink of hot water. A chimney deep clean means opening the unit, degreasing the oil collector, the fan blades and the inner housing, and that takes a technician and time.
Two things worth knowing before you book:
- A cleaner and a chimney technician are not the same person. Many home-cleaning teams will wash the filters and decline the unit, which is honest and correct. If the suction has genuinely dropped, book the chimney job specifically.
- Charcoal filters are replaced, not washed. If yours is a recirculating chimney, cleaning the charcoal filter achieves nothing — it has a life and then it is done.
Our chimney cleaning guide covers that job on its own, and our chimney care tips cover the monthly habit that keeps the deep clean rare.
When to book it, and when the whole-home clean is cheaper
- Once or twice a year suits most Delhi kitchens with daily cooking. More often if you fry a lot; less if the kitchen is lightly used.
- Booking the kitchen alone is the expensive way if the rest of the flat is also due. A full 2BHK deep clean covers the kitchen inside it, and works out lower per room than booking rooms one at a time. Do the arithmetic before assuming the small job is the cheap one.
- Before Diwali is the worst time to leave it late. The festive fortnight is the busiest window of the year for cleaning teams in Delhi. See our pre-Diwali cleaning tips for the order to book things in.
- Empty the cabinets the night before. A team that has to unpack your kitchen is a team not cleaning it, and most will simply skip what is full.
- Pair it with a pest treatment if you have seen cockroaches — a degreased kitchen is a far more effective place to treat, because the residue that feeds them is gone. Our cockroach control guide covers the order to do the two jobs in.
